How It All Began

Tyler’s Sanitation was founded in 1946 by Mr. Milton Tyler to provide residential waste collection services to families in the Aiken County area. Tylers Sanitations Working for Aiken CountyCompany management was assumed by two of Mr. Milton Tyler’s sons, Joe and Lisle Tyler in the 1970’s and under their management has grown to include all types of waste collection services including but not limited to residential, recycling, commercial, Industrial and construction roll-off services.

Today, Tyler’s Sanitation is Aiken County’s only family owned and operated full service waste collection service. “We love being Aiken’s premier waste services company but don’t take it for granted. We strive to provide customer service excellence in every area of our business. We are extremely excited about the future of Tyler’s and the opportunities that lie ahead in all areas of our business here. While all areas of the business enjoy stable growth, it seems that the opportunities surrounding green energy and recycling are some of the most exciting that I have seen in almost 20 years in this business.”
